Senior Network Engineer (AVP)

A well-known global financial organization is looking to hire an experienced Senior Network Engineer who will be involved in implementation and deployment of high availability multi-sited BGP estate spanning multiple locations.

Part of the responsibilities would include but will not be limited to:
* Configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure devices from Cisco, Riverbed, F5
* Implement and deploy network infrastructure in locally hosted, co-located and virtualized environment
* Support strategic initiatives in network infrastructure innovation
* Implement large and complex infrastructure solutions within enterprise, provide network design services across data centres, multiple office locations and campus environments.

To be successful in this role, one must have:
* Solid skills in network infrastructure such as routing, switching, network security
* Strong knowledge of F5 BIG-IP
* Demonstrable knowledge of core technologies: TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, DHCP, NTPP, HTTP, SNMP and TLS/SSL
* In depth knowledge of Layer 3 routing including NAT, SNAT, BGP, OSPF, MPLS
* Technical competency in performance optimization, load balancing
* Automation know-how is a plus (Bash, Ruby, Python, Powershell)
* Ideally, CCNA or CCIE certified
