Regional GM (Based in MY)

REGIONAL GENERAL MANAGER (PHARMA/CONSUMER HEALTHCARE)

Location: Malaysia Type: Permanent

My client is a mid-sized global consumer healthcare and nutrition company looking to drive accelerated growth in the SEA region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop, execute and deliver the Strategic Business Plan of the markets in the cluster in alignment with the Global Business strategy.
* Identify and Develop new business opportunity across Geography and Categories
* Develop, execute and deliver the one-year plan of all the markets in the cluster as aligned to the Strategic Business Plan. This is achieved through country BEOs/ Commercial managers
* Ensure Field force productivity and effectiveness.
* Lead & strengthen the team through coaching, development and training and ensure a pipeline of talent for the business for all markets in cluster
* Pro-actively work with regional teams to ensure effective cooperation and co-ordination. Ensure shared services are effectively set up, delivered, and fully maximize/leverage synergies (distribution, retail sales, consumer insights, KAM, retail sales force, etc.)
* Effective P&L management of respective cluster markets and combined cluster P & L.
* Lead the cluster to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness by leveraging resources, capabilities and other relevant areas

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor or Master Degree in any field.
* Strong Entrepreneurial Mindset. Ability to work in complex and ambiguous environment.
* Minimum 15+ experience in generating demand roles or equivalent, strong expertise in demand generation through holistic brand building and communication activities
* Experience in leading commercial teams.
* Experience in leading cross functional, international teams
